A theme is merely a visual layer on top of Lightspeed's (or Shopify's) platform/data, and therefore does not have any influence on it's working or data. Everything you do in the backoffice is part of Lightspeed itself. If you have questions or run into issues you can contact Lightspeed support.

Checklist

  • The Theme Editor is entirely part of the Lightspeed backoffice itself. Changing theme settings, uploading images, selecting dropdown options, etc. is all handled by Lightspeed - not your theme.
  • Translating any (theme) text or content is all handled by Lightspeed's translation module. For more information you can consult the Lightspeed helpdocs or contact Lightspeed support.
  • For any questions, issues, or errors while using of the Lightspeed backoffice, you can contact Lightspeed support.
  • Have you already read the detailed theme manual? All available built-in theme features are explained here in detail.
  • Have you viewed our frequently asked questions (FAQ) first? This will answer your questions already in most cases.
  • Are you looking for a certain theme setting that is not covered in the theme manual or FAQ? This means there is no such feature available by default. With our design plans we'd be happy to develop a custom solution for your specific store.
